Green chillie tomato chutney

Green chillie Tomato chutney


Ingredients:

Tomatoes      - 4 ( chopped roughly ) 
Green chillies     - 5
Garlic       - 9 pods
Curry leaves    - 10
Coriander leaves    - 1/2 bunch
urad dal     - 3 tbsp
Channa dal   - 3 tbsp
Mustard seed   - 1 tsp
Oil   - 4 tbsp
Salt to taste

Method:


  • In a pan add oil, wait for a while to get it heated, add mustard seed- let it splatter.Add the garlic, Urad dal and channa dal and saute it for a min.
  • Add green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves and saute for another 2 min.
  • Then add the chopped tomatoes and let it cook for 5 min. Allow it to cool.
  • Add salt and grind coarsely.
  • Now the green chillie tomato chutney is ready to serve.
