Idly podi


Ingredients:

Split Bengal gram     - 100 gram
Urad  dal   - 100 gram
Hot dry chillie    - 7
Curry leaves   - 20
Asafoetida powder   1/4  tsp
Salt to taste

Method:


  • Dry fry split Bengal gram with dry chillie and asafoetida till you get a aroma and keep it aside to cool.
  • Again in the same pan dry fry urad dal with curry leaves and mix it with the Bengal gram and allow it cool.
  • In a mixer add all the ingredients and grind coarsely.
  • Store it in an air-tight container.
  • Serve with hot Idly & dosa.
